Fragile X Syndrome
medical animation

embarking on a journey & exploration of
the activities within the brain.

Description
Created for a multinational pharmaceutical company, this scientific animation excerpt aims to explore and understand the genetic condition called fragile x syndrome (FXS).

Our 3D animation team worked to create an effective portrayal of the brain activity by way of exploring the normal function of the synapses in the brain and later introduce the behaviour of the different functions of the brain with FXS. Our design team worked closely together in the early stages with the client and scientific writers to ensure accurate visualisation and seamless integration into the video.

What is Fragile X Syndrome

1Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is a genetic condition that causes intellectual disability, behavioural and learning challenges and various physical characteristics.

TACE therapy combines chemotherapy drugs with embolization. TACE is administered to patients via a catheter which is usually introduced through the femoral artery and guided to the hepatic artery within the liver.

Though FXS occurs in both genders, males are more frequently affected than females, and generally with greater severity.
